RESEARCH DETAILS
In order to overcome the energy crisis and realize a sustainable society, it is important to promote highly efficient interfacial heat transfer, including phase change in the industrial scale, and to develop air conditioning technology without using electricity. Therefore, we are working on the creation of functional surfaces based on understanding of dynamic wetting and phase change phenomena at solid-liquid interfaces and photo-thermal properties of material surfaces. Our goal is to contribute to a sustainable society by improving the heat transfer, heat shielding, and thermal radiation performance of these surfaces and active social implementation of the developed technology.
