- We study production information systems for cyber-physical systems for factories that can predict situations and respond to changes based on the knowledge of skilled engineers and operational data. Our laboratory, in collaboration with researchers in production technology and robotics in the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), aims to implement cyber-physical systems for production factories that integrate equipment and process sensing, automation, modeling and simulation techniques.
