With a particular focus on efficiency improvements and reduction in environmental loading of the energy conversion process, we elucidate complicated reacting thermo-fluid phenomena involving homogeneous and heterogeneous chemical reactions simultaneously through experiments using advanced laser/optical diagnostics and numerical analyses.
