phonon thermal transport in two-dimensional materials
RESEARCH DETAILS
Controlling phonon transport through the nanostructuring of materials, can thereby enables on-demand modifications of thermal conductivity. By employing advanced processes such stacking of 2-dimensional materials, interfacial modification, strain engineering, high-speed low-pressure sintering, and high-pressure torsion (HPT), we aim to advance applications in thermal management and thermoelectric power generation. Through these efforts, we seek to realize sustainable energy usage and high-performance heat dissipation systems.
