EACH SOCIAL COOPERATION COURSE

Komatsu is known as Japan's largest manufacturer of construction, mining, and industrial machinery. Since 2007, Komatsu and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tokyo have been engaged in joint research and student education through the framework of the Social Collaboration Course. By applying the University of Tokyo's cutting-edge knowledge and technology to the problems faced by construction, mining, and industrial machinery and the sites where they are used, we have brought many innovations to the industry. We will continue our efforts to develop human resources who can solve real industrial problems, not only in the academic world.
