RESEARCH DETAILS
Both of theoretical simulations aimed at understanding thermal and electron transport properties, and device fabrication based of principles have been conducted. Recently, we have been working on building a database of thermal properties (such as thermal conductivity) based on first-principles calculations in collaboration with researchers from around the world. In the near future, we aim to develop thermal functional materials such as insulation materials and thermoelectric conversion materials using the database and machine learning.
